To solve the right problem before solving it right, I start by understanding the goals, target audience, their needs, and the project landscape. I often facilitate workshops in this stage to foster a shared understanding among stakeholders and team members. This groundwork helps shape user journeys and guides the design process.

The best way to find out if something works is to test it. That's why I help define goals, key performance indicators, and a testing plan from the start. Next, I create designs, a design system and prototypes while collaborating with product managers, engineers, and researchers to quickly gather insights and improve the product iteratively.

The best products are built as a team. Collaboration reduces blind spots, allows for faster iteration and increases overall quality by challenging ideas and bringing in different perspectives to identify constraints and opportunities early on. And it's more fun, too. That's why I integrate team members and stakeholders in the design process and collaborate with them from the start.
